Longest HDMI Cable using Web Presenter?

PostMon Aug 13, 2018 1:56 am

Has anyone tested HDMI cable lengths from a camera to a Web Presenter to know what the longest length possible is? I'm looking to go about 100'. I'll be using a HDMI to SDI Micro converter using 100' of rg59 for my other input.

Thanks!

We would suggest HDMI cable lengths to be no more than 10ft long. If you need a longer run, purchasing converters to go that length over SDI would be recommended.

I agree with Tony’s view. Try to keep hdmi cables as short as possible to avoid headaches later on
I would eithe move the web presenter closer to the camera or buy a hdmi to sdi converter and run the 100 feet.
The web presenter has two inputs that you can switch back and forth between cameras
You can have one sdi camera 100 feet from the web presenter as a close up shot. and a hdmi camera right next to the web presenter as a wide shot
