Decklink hd extreme 3D+ with thunderbolt and Magma

PostMon May 06, 2013 8:05 am

Dear all,
I have a problem with flicker on HDsdi output from my decklink hd extreme 3d+ card.

Setup is:
Asus G75VX with thunderbolt, windows 8
Magma Expressbox 1T
Decklink HD extreme 3d+

When i set the card in SD (PAL) there is no problem.
As soon as set to 720 or 1080 it flicker on video output.
It flicker 2-3 times a minute even no program is running.

Anyone that have the same problem?

Go back to desktop utility 9.53. That's the last good working firmware for that unit.

It is still not working.
But when i test with a Bluefish epoc card it work just fine..
So there must be something wrong with the driver from BM..

I think i found the problem.
I can see from performance test with Bluefish Epoc card that I am not able to get more than 310MB/sec from computer to the card. From card to computer i get 720MB/sec.
One fill and key is 200MB/sec in RGBA 8bit 1080i50. So about 240MB/sec in 1080i59.
So it might be driver for HD extreme that needs more bandwidth than the Bluefish card
