Getting Correct Audio w/ Web Presenter

PostMon Oct 22, 2018 12:46 am

Hi all
My current setup for my church live stream is as follows: Mackie 1640 audio mixer, BM Web Presenter with Teranex mini panel, 2 Sony HXR MC-2500, HP Pavilion All-in-one 27'', and my software is Vmix. What I am inquiring about is how to feed my audio mixer's sound to the web presenter, which would then be sent to Vmix? Currently, I have one camera near a speaker, but the audio coming from there is not consistent. I've been told to connect a printer cable to my audio mixer and connect the other end to my computer's USB port, but sadly my audio mixer doesn't have a printer USB port.

Any help is welcome.

I had one configured so that the camera's SDI connected to a switcher.
Mics and other audio sources connected to a mackie mixer.
The web presenter has SDI and HDMI and only one XLR and RCA jacks.
I used a blackmagic Audio to SDI converter to embed the audio from the mixer into the SDI signal coming from the cameras/switcher and then the SDI with the embedded audio then connected to the web presenter.

Sounds like a good approach. Another if you only have one mono audio source is to feed the audio to yiur csmera, and then to the WP to keep audio and video in sync.
