Webpresenter reading cameras with same settings as different

PostThu Nov 01, 2018 11:02 am

Hi all,

I live stream night club events and I'm having an issue with Webpresenter reading the same camera settings from two gh5 cameras.
Currently I'm using a Macbook Pro with Wirecast, ethernet internet connection. Webpresenter with two cameras set to NTSC 1080i 29.97fps. Audio is XLR straight from the clubs mixing desk.

The problem I have is that webpresenter is reading the sdi connected camera (via a hdmi to sdi connection BM) as 2k 59.97fps when that isn't what it is set to.

Any suggestions what may be causing this reading? It's causing a pop between cameras with the audio which is seriously annoying for live music.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer me.

I think the issue is, 1080i29.97 is not a standard NTSC SDI signal, which the WebPresenter is looking for.
Try setting both cameras to 1070i59.94 and see if that solves the issue. Audio is popping because of the different camera resolutions being switch is causing a glitch in the switcher.
