ATEM Production Studio 4K + XBOX 360

Hi,

I recently purchased an ATEM Production Studio 4K and have tried to plug in an XBOX360 into one of the HDMI ports however no matter what I tried I could not get any picture.

Im aware of the resolution limits and so had the xbox at 720P and tried both 720p 50 and 59.9 on the Production Studio 4K.

Has anyone tried this or even tried this on the previous ATEM devices?

All help would be greatly received.

Some devices have mechanisms for content protection in HDMI ports. These devices can usually only be connected only on viewers, as monitors.

I can get an XBOX 360 as a source on my 1 M/E with the 1080 59.94 settings.

So in theory it should work on the 4K as well then?

In regards to suspected HDCP I did think about this but then the xbox works on my black magic intensity pro.

I had connected an XBOX via component to my 1 M/E and I've noticed that it outputs (in Europe) 50Hz in the menu and if you start a game it switches to 60Hz... So I've used 59.94 in the end.

Yeh I have tried 720p at both 50 and 59.9hz while having the xbox set to 720p and I have also set te xbox to 1080i with 1080i 50 and 1080i 59.9hz but nothing works just get a black screen.

Has anyone else got a 4K production studio?

XBOX doesn't have the copyright protection on so you wont have to worry about that. PS3 I had to make a work around for it.

Update!

IF I plug the XBOX into my black magic intensity via hdmi and then from the intensity into the Production Studio 4k it works.

So I wonder if its an HDCP problem on the Studio 4k.

I doubt it's that because I can plug my Xbox 360 directly into my atem if I recall correctly. But the PS3 I could not. I had to get a different converter to do it properly.
