Image without lens?

I have purchased the Ultra HD Studio Camera (Open Box Ebay). I have not purchased any lens yet as I wanted to make sure the camera is fully operational. So, my question is, should I be seeing anything on the screen even without the lens (obviously with the cap remaved)? Excuse the little experience, plz.

I would not turn the ca era in without a lens or the body cap on the lens mount. You do not want to get any direct bright light hitting the sensor. The camera has a MFT mount, and any MFT lens will fit for testing purposes. Try to borrow a MFT lens from a friend, or rent one. The camera needs a kens to get an image.

I agree with denny.. But if you really really want to check.. Hold a few white paper sheets in front of it to restrict the light and prevent dust coming in to the body.
