Resolution

PostMon Nov 26, 2018 1:56 am

I recently purchased the ATEM Television Studio. I am inputting three DSLRs at 1080p60fps. On my computer screen, the video appears crisp and clear. When I livestream, however, the video quality is quite grainy. Now, I realize that the ATEM Television Studio and Web Presenter output at 720p, but why am I getting such poor resolution? What can I do to get the resolution crisper and clearer?

Thanks!

The Web-Pesenter is designed for 720p only. Higher resolutions will donwnconverted. So if this don‘t fit your requirements, you habe to use an other capturing device.

To add to Thomas's reply...

The WP also backs off in resolution and frame rate if there's a bottle neck in ur system.
Add to that it also not recognised correctly with certain softwares...
So it could be ur actually only streaming a 360 or 480 Res.

IMO the WP still isn't "pro" ready, and far too buggy.
Grab yourself a magewell or Aja U-tap.
Better still purchase a dedicated hardware streamer that doesn't rely on a PC and software. :D
