Failed to detect the unit

PostTue Jan 15, 2019 1:21 pm

Hi,

we bought a BM Webpresenter. I've connected a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV via an HDMI to the Webpresenter.
I have a Teranex Mini Smart Panel so I can see the Webpresenter is receiving the video from the camera.

My computer (Windows 7) is connected through the front panel's USB-entry. The Web Presenter Setup says the device is connected.

I've used OBS and Skype but the Webpresenter does not appear as an extra webcam.

Can you please help me? What can I do to fix this?
I want to use it for Facebook Live.

Sincerely,
Tom

Have you checked the DEVICE MANAGER to make sure it's showing up as a "WEBCAM - Web Presenter?"

The front panel USB port (Mini-B socket) is for setup, control and updates only.
If you want to get the Web Presenter on your computer as a webcam audio & video source, you need to connect to the USB type B socket on the rear panel, labelled 'USB WEB CAM'.
See user manual page 6.

Plug ur PC into the USB connector (Webcam) at the rear of the unit.
