Web Presenter SDI output is blurrry

PostWed Jan 16, 2019 6:33 pm

I have latest firmware.

I have my web presenter, 2 laptops I switch back and fourth. My main laptop uses HDMI input on WPresenter. Output looks fine. I switch to SDI input and what is on screen is very low res and unreadable as I am swapping to screenshare with documents. I bought the Blackmagic HDMI to SDI converter and a supported SDI cable. Why does the SDI input look so bad?

Did you search a few topics? The webpresenter as a device has almost always a blurry image. Due too the nature of 720P webcam output of the webpresenter almost all sources do look strange.

Not the ideal device for capturing text data into your computer for streaming. Decklink card or ultrastudio device will give you much better results. ;)
