ATEM only Recognizing 720p Sony handycam

Hello,

I recently purchased an ATEM TV Studio 8-channel mixer for a theatrical show with live-feeding video cameras. I usually use a Sony Handyam CX-110 for most of my work.

The camera outputs to 720p, 1080i, 1080p. However, the ATEM will only view the device in 720p settings. This sounds like an issue with the Sony CX-110, but I was wondering if anyone had an explanation or suggestions.

Thanks!

Check this topic> Frequently Asked Questions - Atem Mixer >Point 1.02 There is a pretty good description why the camera does not come up. And also how to fix it when you read down that post. ;)

That ATEM will only accept one frame rate/format for all the inputs. That means if you set the ATEM to 1080i it will only accept 1080i signals on all the channels. What do you have your ATEM set to and what other frame rates are you trying to input?
