HDMI OUTPUT NOT CLEAR THRU INTENSITY PRO SHUTTLE

Im presently running el capitain on my Mac Pro, and when I connect my canon 6d (first edition) HDMI to the intensity shuttle or the intensity pro the live feed is poor on both the black magic media software and on Wirecast. on my laptop its fine with a different intensity shuttle. it has to be a conflict with the intensity shuttle and pro because the live feed coming from the usb to the Eos utility software is fine I will attach a image of both the live feed coming from the HDMI going to the shuttle and the live feed coming from the usb to the Eos utilities software. does anyone have any idea as to what I can check because this seems very strange to me.
