Atem TV studio audio query

PostSat Mar 09, 2019 7:11 pm

Hi folks,

I have an Atem TV Studio (and old one! c2012) and a correspondingly elderly thunderbolt shuttle.
I'm setting up a live stream (using wirecast) and can't get any audio out of either the Atem or the shuttle.

Something at the back of my head is telling me that the Atem strips out the audio and it has to be re-added separately, but I also had a feeling that this was overcome by a later firmware update.
TBH I just can't remember

Im inputting 1080i 50 from two cameras and these show up fine in the multi view, but no audio. (radio mic and shotgun both DI'd to one of the cameras).

Any ideas folks?

Thanks

Can you plug in an audio source into the external audio in connection and test to see if it passes that audio?

Have you gone in the audio tab and adjusted the fader for the input you want to use including the master fader?
Connect the pgm hdmi-out to a monitor to check if you have audio before you connect to the shuttle.
