ATEM Master AFV or Monitor AFV?

I'm filling in for a friend and new to this, so please be gentle, hah..

I'm using ATEM 1 M/E Production Studio 4K controlling it via the Windows ATEM Control Software. In the Audio section there is an AFV toggle under the master slider and above the monitor settings... is this AFV toggle for the Master or for the Monitor?

If it's for the Master, could you please explain why there is one for the Master and for each individual input? I'm not doing any mixing, so I always want the Program audio to follow the camera input selected.

Thanks everyone, this forum has helped me so much over the last week, but we are going LIVE tomorrow and I want to be as ready as I can.

I guess that the afv are for the master and when you push fade to black button it's muting the audio as well as going to black on the video side.
For all the channels that you need to have audio and video at the same time you need to set the afv to on.
