Intensity Pro Streaming

PostWed Jun 05, 2013 1:40 pm

Hello,

I am looking to do some streaming to the internet with the Intensity Pro PCI card. I plan to ingest HD video into the card and write it as a h.264 to then upload to the streaming site (probably Livestream). But my question is, can I write a Hi-Res and Lo-Res file with the BMIP card to server 2 purposes? It would be ideal for us to take the same source that is coming into the PC and create a Hi-Res file for editing in Adobe and/or FCP, but also create the Lo-Res to upload to Livestream.

Any thoughts?

Thank you

I don´t think this is possible with the Intensity Card, because the Card is not supporting the H264 Streaming Interface from the sdk. Use the H264 Pro Recorder, but Media Express writes only one Profile to H264-file. When using the sdk, it is possible to capture stream from more than one instance as example on Atem Televsion or H264 Pro Recorder. I made a test and captured/streamed HD 720P Native and IPod Profile same time. It worked, but the Streaming was stucky in a first short test.

Please Keep in mind my Software runs on the BMD 9.7.1 SDK and is not a Standard Software. my App streams the packets via MPEG2ts UPD multicast....

If you need a special custom Software you have to program it by yourself with sdk.
If you want to buy a custom solutionfeel free to contact me.

Hope this helps

Best regards

Hi, I am a stormchaser and have installed Intensity Pro successfully into my Windows 8 Pro computer.

It is my intention to stream live severe weather from my HDMI sources into my Expression Encoder 4 Pro or my Adobe Live 3.2 Encoder. I am unable to get neither to work. The only way I can get video to display from my HMDI sources is when I use the Blackmagic video software only.

Are there any suggested settings in either programs? As input device listed I am not seeing Intensity Pro as a drop down.

It works, you have to Setup the BMD Video Input first, and after this create an Encoder Profile for Streaming. I got it to run....
