Pan Tilt Zoom Options

PostWed Apr 17, 2019 4:42 pm

Good day friends,

I recently purchased 3 Blackmagic Studio 4k cameras. We have remote mounted these and I'm looking at getting a Blackmagic ATEM switcher to control more features on these cameras.

Through the expansion cable, the Blackmagic Studio 4k has a PTZ output (VISCA).

I'm looking at the Bescor MP-101 Pan & Tilt head, which has a different 8 pin cable.

Does anyone have any experience connecting the Bescor cable to PTZ control on the Blackmagic camera?

Cheers,

The first question is, what lens do you plan to use? The options are very limited unfortunately.

You could also check out www.multicamzilla.com as a solution.
