Hi there,
I am using Boya By-WM6 with my Canon Mark III 5D and Blackmagic WebPresenter for live stream. I know the mic works as I can monitor the output using the headphone jack on my Boya receiver, but OBS does not capture any sound in the video stream when I select "Blackmagic Presenter" as mic source. I tried connecting mic directly on the camera as well as on XLR connector on Web Presenter but no luck.
When I tried conencting Boya mic with RCA connector I was able to get "some" sound but with low volume. Increasing the volume at this point will also increase the "static noise" and kill the overall experience.
I tried the same setup with Nikon and it works like charm. Is there some weird combination of Canon, Blackmagic, Boya, OBS that is not compatible? Any idea what's going on?
