You do not setup the recording input resolution in the Hyperdeck, it automatically switches to the correct resolution setting based on the signal being received. That said, the SDI input on the Studio model only supports 1.5G or 3G signal. This means you are limited to HD progressive signals from 1080p24 to 1090p30, (see below), no UHD signal support.
Hyperdeck Studio recording resolutions:
HD Progressive Video Standards
720p50, 720p59.94, 720p60
1080p23.98, 1080p24, 1080p25, 1080p29.97, 1080p30
So if you are trying to input a 1080p59.94 signal, it is not going to work, as this requires a 6G SDI input.
Try setting the ATEM to 1080p29.97, that should work, as is the same frame rate as 1080i59.94 (which is actually 29.97fps).
To record 1080p59.94/60, you need to upgrade to a HyperDeck Studio 12G recorder.
