I'm trying to design a small video monitor bridge (~10u) as a mobile solution at one of our studios, and I'm looking at the Teranex Mini IP units as a way to distribute video and audio to a portable rack enclosure.
The idea is to get all the signals from a Master Room, get them into an 10G network backbone and deploy them at the rack in the studio. I was thinking of a couple of small switches linked by a 10G connection.
Would you please suggest a suitable small (~16-24 ports) PoE, PTP, E2E enabled switch that's certified to work with the Teranex Mini IP Video 12G units? Would this rig support hot plugging?
