Camera Control Issue!

Hey,

So I'm experiencing an issue in sending TX back into 2 URSA Broadcasts, 1 URSA Mini Pro 4.6k and a Mini Studio Camera. The 3 URSAs are using Video Assist 4ks as Viewfinders.

Basically, only one of the URSA Broadcasts is fully receiving signal back into the camera for Camera Control and seeing picture on the Video Assist but at the same time the others are receiving enough to enable the camera control but the Video Assists have gone black and is seeing no signal whatsoever.

The TX is going into a DA then onto the cameras.

Is there some sort of interference going on? and if so, why is it ignoring only one of the cameras?

What resolution and framerate are you running?
Are the VA's connected to the Viewfinder output of the ursa's ?

we were originally running 1080i 50, then switched to 1080p 25.
Yeah they were coming out of the front SDI that the viewfinders use

Brad, do you have the camera ID numbers set the same in both ATEM and in the Cameras? Each camera also needs a different ID number.

Still the VA should display video when hitting the PGM button. And 1080i50 1080P25 are not really difficult resolutions.. It is kind of weird it does not show.

We've had an odd issue where the rear SDI port on 2 of our URSA Broadcasts stopped outputting a (strong) signal.

It would work on some monitors, but not others. Would work on the fiber converter but only sometimes. Ultimately determined that the rear SDI port was the culprit, as the front EVF port would work fine at the same resolution on the same device.

Both cams went in for repair.

we found a solution though! not sure what is happening but the issue was only happening if the return was coming from the cleanswitch 12x12. switched to an AUX coming straight out of the ATEM and that fixed the issue.

Spoke to a Blackmagic representative at an event I attended a couple weeks back and he told me it was a bug and wasn't sure why it wasn't working with through the 12x12...So that's that i guess.
