Micro Converter HDMI to SDI compatible to 1024 x 768?

Hey,
I have a very specific question which remains unanswered in the documentation about the adapter.

Is the Micro Converter HDMI to SDI compatible to 1024 x 768 ? (also called XGA).

Delivered by a Macbook-Pro - > Matrox Triple Head 2go DE -> DVI -> HDMI -> Micro Converter HDMI to SDI -> DVI -> HDMI -> old SANYO projector

The projector only supports 1024x767, he can not downscale any higher resolutions. Which means a signal with 1024 x 768 needs to arrive on the projector.

An answer would be highly appreciated

If you check the specs on the website it is pretty clear that it does not.
It does only support broadcast standards!! This is a hardware limitation of SDI.
