Web Presenter USB 0 FPS

I have a BM web Presenter with the front plate. Unit powers up, I can see the HDMI input it connects to my mac or pc and shows as connected through Web Presenter Setup as up to date running 1.2 but it is pushing 0 (zero) FPS and i can see the stream through any app (skype, OBS, QT). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

USB cable from the back of the WP to the computer, try new cable.
In OBS I sometimes need to bring up the webcam first then switch to WP input for the software to see it.
Also in OBS setup I use video capture device, not black magic device.
