Can't connect computer to Smart Videohub 40x40 via ethernet

I must be missing something, please help me. I have a Smart Videohub 40x40, a router control panel and a couple mac computers connected via ethernet. The router control panel works great, but I can't get the videohub software to connect to the Videohub. I push connect, and it just spins and spins without connecting. Does the third part of the IP address need to be the same (192.168.XX.XXX) The videohub has 192.168.1.xxx and the computers are showing 192.168.1.xxx. That's the only thing I can see that is different, and if that's the issue I'll work to correct it, but is there something else I could be missing as well?

Yes. If you don't know it to be otherwise, your network is probably a /24, which means the third octet should match on all devices, or they are on different subnets, and won't work without something doing the routing.
