ATEM switcher w/ ATEM Live production USB connection

Hi,

I have ATEM Television Studio HD and am trying to connect it to ATEM switcher 8.0.2 software via USB cable included in the ATEM Television Studio HD box. However, ATEM switcher 8.0.2 cannot recognize the ATEM Studio. I have tried two different laptops, usb ports and USB cables but none of them were working. would anyone advise me how to resolve it?

You can't control the switcher with a usb-cable. The usb are only for setting up ip on the switcher.
You need to use ethernet to be able to control the switcher. The computer and switcher need to be set to the same subnet. Read the: frequently asked questions - Live production above under number 1.03.
