Mac pro recognises the TVS but doesn't recognise the 2m/e?

We have been successfully using the hdmi from our mac pro (early 2013 - so has a hdmi port) to feed propresenter into our TVS. We use SwitchResX to ensure the format matches the settings on the TVS.

However we have just purchased the 2m/e and I can not get the mac to recognise it at all... Normally with the TVS it pops up in SwitchResX - we change the format to match (in or case 1080 50i) and off we go.

Spent hours trying to figure out what the problem is to no avail - has anyone else had a similar issue? Any suggestions on what might be wrong?

correct me if im wrong someone, isn't channel 1 mutli input hdmi and sdi switchable. which is shown in settings

It is... but when hdmi is selected the mac wont recognise the 2m/e in the same way as it does for the TVS.

I'm still trying to find a solution - but still no luck - so if anyone has had the same problem I would be interested to know.

Is the 2 m/e working ok, can you operate it normally when you not have hdmi active on input 1?
Please give more information about whats happening when the mac doesn't recognize the 2 m/e.

Others have reported that on the 2 m/e thay need to powercycle after a change between sdi and hdmi.
