Hi I try to record using Media Express but it captures timecode only when you give an in point is this correct ?
When I press the capture button no timecode is captured.Also when I have captured a file in SD and the anamorphic box is checked because i want to capture 16:9 material in SD.But when I import this captured file in FCP X the playback format from the Event Browser and Timeline looks ok in the viewer,when i use in FCP X >info >anamorphic override >widescreen but on an external monitor from FCPX it looks cropped
I've tested with other capture software and files recorded on a disk from a camera and all was looking good except those captured with Media Express with the latest version.
The second i want to know is why Media Express doesn't playback the recoreded timecode ,it plays back the duration of the file from zero
