Im not sure what happened, but the modifiers tab is no longer appearing when I modify a parameter with something like shake. Is there an option to enable/disable it?

Sure. From Fu7 you can modify the UI so you can hide it also (accidentaly). Of course you can have it back just RMB on the Tools tab and you'll see.
