Render FPS Help

PostFri Aug 07, 2015 2:58 pm

Although I have timeline and playback settings at 1080/29.97 the only options I have to render at are 24 or 23.97 for single clip render, nothing else shows in the drop down. I have rebooted. I really need this at 29.97. I have tried all render formats.

The default Deliver page render frame rate should match the project settings Timeline frame rate. So are you sure the project settings Timeline frame rate is 29.97?

I have seen an issue in Resolve 11.1.3, where the timeline frame rate was 29.97, and someone selected a Deliver page Preset that was made on a 24 FPS timeline. And after selecting that preset, the Deliver page render frame rate was set to 24, and you couldn't select the proper frame rate. Are you selecting a custom Deliver page Preset, or is it set to None?

Also make sure you are using Resolve 12 Beta 2 (build 028), as Beta 1 (build 023) had some issue with Deliver page settings not working correctly.

Everything was set to 29.97. yes using Beta 2 . Wrote this on the DaVinci facebook page and someone else confirmed my finding. I was importing a UHD file into a 1080 timeline but FPS is 29.97 on everything. It did work correctly by letting the "do you want to change the time line" was accepted.

Please do a Project Export of a project that is doing this, and link to the export .drp file here.
