Unable to customize viewer aspect ratio

PostTue Sep 29, 2015 7:25 pm

Imported footage (HDV 1080 60 1440 & 1080) and am unable to customize the viewer and timeline windows to the correct aspect ratios. Everything is squeezed. The source aspect ratio is not offered in the
timeline resolution settings.

Thanks.

i second that, the aspect ratio should be a [x/y] free choice from the user.

too many exceptions to the rules

Set the clip aspect ratio in the media pool for each different format. You can also use the Project settings to set Image scaling to 'stretch frame to all corners'. to force the clips to rescale the aspect to the timeline setting.
