Workflow - Premiere for editing, resolve/fusion for the rest

PostWed Oct 14, 2015 5:13 pm

Hi,

I am editing my projects in premiere, and gotten really fast with that NLE.

It is very fast to cut a vignett/intro in premiere, but I would like to be able to import stuff like that into fusion for finishing/compositing. Either straight from premiere or davinci resolve, which is my color correction software. Love nodes, the main reason for why I want to use fusion and not after effects for example.

What is the best solution for this?
XML? Can I import an XML straight into Fusion 8 for mac now?

- download and install Python 2.7.10 (or 3.3.6) for your OS
- copy downloaded script to [YOUR FUSION SCRIPT DIRECTORY]/Comp - your script directory can be found under File->Preferences->Globals and...->Pathmap->Scripts
- start Fusion
- start script from Script->XML to Fusion
- follow instructions
