Repeatable Render Bug: Pro Res 444 vs. 422HQ

PostThu Jul 28, 2016 4:50 am

I just discovered tonight that if you select burn-in text on a 1920x1080 ProRes 444 file, it will display on the color-managed monitor but will not render at all. The resultant file has no burn-ins.

If you change nothing except rendering out to Pro Res 422HQ, then the burn-in text is fine. I checked this several times and was perplexed, since the burn-in text is visible while the timeline is playing back while rendering.

(Don't ask why somebody would need a burn-in in a 444 file.) This is a repeatable bug.

Same here. Probably nobody ever asked for a 4444 with burn-in ;-)
