Importing AVCHD Footage

I need to import an AVCHD clip into Resolve.

Any suggestions on the best way to do this?

Thanks.

If it is the Panasonic AVC-HD codec, it is not likely to be recognized as a valid media file by Resolve. In that case it should be transcoded to something that is -- Quicktime.mov, MXF, or a sequential image file (dpx, &c.) that you can browse to and import into the project in the normal way.

If you don't like to transcode und your machine is capable enough, you can do a re-wrap with a program like Convert 3 (PC). Use EditReady or Kyno on the Mac,.
