Dual Monitor Setup with Different Resolutions!?

PostTue Jan 17, 2017 4:03 pm

My main Display 1 is a 4K display and my monitor out is to a 1920x1200 Display 2. When I fired up Resolve 12.5 and enabled dual monitor display, my Display 2 UI is enormous and doesn't fit comfortably on the screen.

I changed my 4K Display 1 resolution down to 1920x1200 to match Display 2 and fired up Resolve again. This fixed the UI problem on Display 2 but now my Display 1 looks terrible.

Is there any way to change the UI resolution of Resolve on each monitor independently?

Resolve works best with matched GUI monitors but in this scenario, I would recommend you use the single monitor solution then port out your Scopes to the smaller monitor. Ideally, these two mismatched monitors will be positioned either side of your calibrated 'video' display which is driven from your Decklink card. (or TB mini-monitor)
