PostFri Mar 03, 2017 4:52 am

Hello

I have recently purchased Micro Studio Camera 4K and purchased an MFT lens:
Panasonic Lumix G X Vario PZ 45-175 mm.

What do you mean by "auto focus"? The Micro Studio camera does not have continuities auto focus or a "Push to focus" button on it for instant focus. Can you focus the len by rotating the focus ring? If, so then then the lens is working. For "Push to focus" you can get one of several LANC remotes that will give you a "instant focus" when selected, then it locks that focus after releasing the button. LANC will also give remote zoom control on this lens. Manfrotto makes a LANC remote that supports both. The BM Micro Ursa handle will add this, and you can also set focus with with the ATEM CCU control of the camera.

Additionally, focus, zoom, Iris, Shuttle, ISO and white balance can all be controlled via the. ATEM CCU and the csmera's S Bus. Their are several S Bus remotes coming on the market, look for Micro Cinema/Micro Studio remotes.

I have a little question from a newbie, you wrote

"Additionally, focus, zoom, Iris, Shuttle, ISO and white balance can all be controlled via the. ATEM CCU and the csmera's S Bus. Their are several S Bus remotes coming on the market, look for Micro Cinema/Micro Studio remotes."

Is this available from the ATEM Television Studio Pro 4K or do one need the ATEM Camera Control Panel to access all of these features?

ATEM CCU control is via thr atem software, with a return video feed to the camera’s return video input.
CCU control is available on the computer running the ATEM program, or via the hardware control panel.
SBus remote control is a separate device, not connected to the ATEM, and works independently when a ATEM is not used.

keep in mind that if you want to remote control focus and zoom you need a lens that will be able to handle this too.. ;) Only a few MFT lenses have a motorised zoom.. And all are not light sensitive,.... So remote zoom for MFT lenses is a bit of a bust.. ;)
