You need to send it to a repair facility for a sensor cleaning.

This is not the sensor but probably on the cover glass and that needs to be replaced. You can contact your reseller to do this. Ensure that you keep your equipment in a dry cabinet, especially in high humidity areas.

The other option is call your local Blackmagic support office and see if you can purchase the filter glass and get a camera repair shop with the right equipment to replace that.

Since you ask this question I estimate that you should contact the specialized service, preferably Blackmagic one.

If you are going to clean it yourself then you lose all warranty and I strongly advice against it. This topic has been discussed here many times. So if you are going to clean it yourself you could google for the relevant discussion in this forum.

A little hint for specialists ONLY: It looks that the front glass is held by the rubber ring ONLY and just falls out after you pull out the ring. But I am not going to risk checking it.

Silica gel is your friend when you stow equipment that's not in use.

With the Canon 5d, I was able to clean the sensor glass with a cleaning kit. Don't know what Blackmagic says about that, but it is something to consider, depending on your money situation. This article is tells about what I used, but there are now new thing on the market. http://briansmith.com/5-simple-steps-ca ... r-cleaning.

If you live in a bright sunlight area like in India, keep your camera in the sun for 5-6 hours. Or, purchase a 200 watt tungsten lamp, light it and keep the camera near it. If the fungus is new and not corroded your sensor glass, it will go away.

If it's no longer under warranty will taking it apart to clean it void that? Just curious.

If it's no longer under warranty, you can do what you want. But some repairs may best be done by BMD anyway although you will pay for that service.
