Forum search function is useless

PostSat Apr 01, 2017 12:20 am

I put the + in front of words and search will ignore them.
For example, I wanted to search for ATEM production studio graphics, it ignored every word but graphics.
I then just put in +atem graphics, search ignored atem and gave me 5,000 results for the word graphic.
Am I doing something wrong.
Very frustrating,
Thanks

Yep. And it weeds out anything with too common of a word. Which, given the topics discussed here, could be "video" or "audio" or "camera". It makes it very hard to search on the site.

The good part is that if you throw a "blackmagic" into your search, and do it in Google, you often get fairly decent results for this forum. Google searches here better than the forum search, anyway.

Or, if you want better results, search---
searchterm secondserchterm site:forum.blackmagicdesign.com
