Yes. From the manual:

Fusion has two scripting Languages to choose from: Lua and Python. Both access the same API through FusionScript so it is up to you which language to choose.

python can be used with fusion, but you need to have it installed on your pc. its not included in fusion.

but AFAIK you cant use python in the simple expressions
