Automatically show portrait stills in portrait format

PostThu Apr 20, 2017 2:13 pm

Hello there!

I have a couple of photos which are in portrait mode amogest dozens of landscape photos. How can I import them to the Media section in portrait format or automatically flip them?

Since I am an absolute beginner with Resolve (I just want to make Holiday videos as a Hobby and my only experience is with iMovie) I know I am not at the top of the "to-answer-list", but it would be kind if someone could show me a way how to do this.

Thank you in advance
Clemens

i have never run across the need to autorotate in Resolve. But if it's not working automatically as you report, I doubt such feature exists in Resolve.

The good thing is that you can rotate individual clips or multiple clip selections when you cut them into a timeline. Open the Inspector and you will find a Rotation Angle control slider.
