Fairlight Page

I am extremely excited :D about the opportunity of using this powerful audio editing and recording program. And yes I understand that the current Davinci Resolve version 14 beta is in the development stages. Therefore I will do my best to aid in the bug finding stage.

I have been able to figure out how to record a print track via the patch I/O settings. However when recording to the print track destination the clip recording shows the left and right portions of the clip recording. but when I click stop there is only the left portion of the clip in the track. Furthermore I added an effects plug-in to the sub-track. When playing the clip through the sub-track the effect can be heard, but when recording the ffect does not record to the destination track. I tried this with the aux-track and nothing played nor did the track record.

Also will Fairlight be offered in a stand-alone program?

Given that most of the Fairlight manual pages are pretty much blank, I got no advice for you... except maybe to wait a couple of months for the software to get sorted out.
