Resolve 14 crashing on import on PC

PostThu Apr 27, 2017 4:58 pm

Hello, I just installed Resolve 14 beta, program opens fine, I create a bin and upon importing files to bin I get a POPUP window saying, "The clip(s) have a different frame rate than the current project setting. would you like to change your timeline frame rate and video format to match? Don't Change / Change.

Upon pushing either button, Resolve instantly crashes.

My system is Windows 10 64 bit, i7-3770 3.4 ghz 16GB Nvidia GT 520 2GB driver version 375.85 and I am installing 381.89, but I don't the driver is the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am including a screen shot.

Thanks :D

The same happens for me on Resolve 14 Beta 2. The footage I tried is uncompressed uyvy 8bit 720p50 avi from BMD media-express or dslr 1080p50 h264 mov footage.

Although Resolve crashes, only the gui gets closed but the background process Resolve.EXE and DPDECODER stays active!

It crashes on me too when I import an MP4 footage. Same MP4 footage imports fine in Vegas and Premier. Resolve Studio Beta 2 will crash after a few second of import.

I am on Windows 10, 32 GB RAM, vNidia 960
