Fusion 8 Prefs file not working correct

PostWed May 10, 2017 11:17 am

After restarting Fusion 8 Studio all my settings (prefs, e.g. the path map etc) are beeing reset to the default value.

I have located the Fusion 8 prefs file here:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Blackmagic Design\Fusion\Profiles\Default\Fusion.prefs

And found this out:
> Fusion is running and I am changing settings
> I am closing Fusion and when I then go and check the Fusion.prfefs file (in an editor) it does have all my changes saved, so this looks good
> I am now restarting Fusion and all my settings (inFusion) are back to default. When I now open the Fusion.prefs file the earlier saved settings are also disappeared and back to the default settings.

Can anyone help? So I just cannot get Fusion "not to reset or overwrite" teh earlier saved prefs-File upon startup of Fusion.

Thanks,

Make sure the folders that contain your prefs are not set to read only. New Windows updates have created that problem. If so, search the web for the solution to the Read Only problem.

Thanks. It was the same location for Fusion 9 - helped me to locate and delete the prefs.
