Sandisk Extreme Pro 128

The 128 GB Extreme Pro UHS-1 is not listed on the accepted list. Is that old information or is that card OK.
Trying to order from B&H today.

Which device/camera are you trying to use this card with?

I have the 256GB Version and it works fine for raw recordings on the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera

We would be using the card in a Hyperdeck Mini being fed from a TV Studio HD. The cameras are Canon XA35.

Cliff,the SanDisk 128GB UHS1 SD cards are not recommended for the Hyperdeck Mini. You need to,sue the UHS 2 128GB SanDisk SD cards.

Denny, I'm disappointed. Those 128 GB UHS-2 SD cards are too expensive. And 64 GB will not record very much.
I might as well use a Shuttle 2 because a 256 GB SSD only costs 159.00. Using those UHS-2 cards reminds me of buying a inkjet printer for 69.00 and then paying double that for ink. I just want to record a one hour church program using Prores 422 or Prores LT. Why won't the 128 UHS-1 card work?
One other question: If I use the UHS-2 cards, will I have to use an adapter between it and the Hyperdeck Mini I was hoping to use? I read somewhere that those cards have two rows of pins.

Cliff, yes, currently the SD card line up for the Hyperdeck Mini and Video Assist 4K recorders is very limited.
I have a new (just used to test) in box Hyperdeck Shuttle 2 you can have for $200 with Mini SDI to BNC HD video cable, if this helps. The Shuttle will record much longer takes to a more robust (SSD) media, with better cost per GB! You can get Digistor 480 GB SSD Professional Video Series (DIG-PVD480S, pre-formatted ExFat) SSDs direct for Digistore for $119.00, which work great with the Hyperdeck, as they were designed for them, less expensive than the SanDisk, same or better reliability.

Thanks Denny, I'll be considering that Shuttle2. Still wondering if you need an adapter for the UHS-2 cards when used with the Hyperdeck Mini?

No, the Hyperdeck Mini is a UHS 2 buss SD card socket with dual pin connections

BUT Hyperdeck Shuttle 2 record only PRORES HQ .. Not higher compressions ..

Yes,the Shuttle only records ProRes HQmor DNxHD, and uses SSD media. However, We were discussing the new Hyperdeck Mini, which records higher resolution video and uses SSD UHS2 media.
