Forget about using my laptop with Resolve 12.5?

Macbook Pro 13", early 2011
2.7 Ghz Intel Core i7
16 gb memory
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB

So, forget about using Resolve 12.5? I downloaded it, and it won't even open. It just crashes immediately 0.2 seconds into opening.

Is there anything I can do? Such as purchasing a compatible graphics card? Would my CPU be holding the system back then?

I appreciate any advice.

Resolves requires a GPU with OpenCL support, which your Intel integrated graphics chip doesn't have. Rather than buy an external graphics card, I would probably start saving for a new machine.
