Feature Request: Undo History per Timeline

PostFri Aug 11, 2017 6:02 pm

Hello. First of all, let me say that I love DaVinci Resolve!

I would like to request the ability to store (undo) history into each timeline as data (similar to Maya's construction history).

This would allow me to take an edit back a bunch of steps and branch out into an alternate direction without losing the work I had just done.

A major piece of this request is to maintain the editing history as local data (per timeline) as opposed to global undo.

Thank you for considering this request.

This is actually a pretty good idea. But to be complete, a History panel for every timeline in both the Edit and Color tabs. So every timeline would get two Histories with user definable steps.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
