14b9 auto-sync works with media but not with multicam

I have stumbled across what I think is an inconsistency in how Resolve deals with media vs multicam clips.

When I auto-sync audio with media clips (Auto-sync with append) my 22-track audio BWAV files are appended to the stereo track of my camera giving me a video clip with 24 audio tracks, as expected. The 24 tracks are listed in the Media Pool window, and they are seen when dropping the newly synced clip onto the timeline.

When I auto-sync a multicam clip with the same 22-track audio BWAV files, the number of audio tracks reported in the media pool window remains at 2. But when I create a timeline from that clip I see 24 audio tracks. Confusing!
