So far a vast improvement from b7. A few things I wanted to make note of:
Render cache is not working correctly. E.g. set cache to "smart" then to "user" now it wants to render everything on the timeline even though nothing at the clip level is selected. I cannot for the life of me get it to stop rendering the entire timeline unless I just set it to "none". Tried clearing/saving/re-opening several times.
A small annoyance: From edit tab, play clip, go to full screen.
1. Cannot set in/out points from this screen
2. Cannot go to next clip from this screen (even when selected in browser via second monitor)
3. When returning from full screen, timeline is selected, not the viewer, so in/out points still cannot be set, its several extra clicks when reviewing lots of clips
