New version slow?

PostMon Sep 04, 2017 2:14 pm

After beta 8 the software became a lot more slower. The playback which was great before, now starts looking like 12.5 (ok not os much, but is way slower now).

This is just a normal bug from the beta or the final version will be like this?

For me the biggest improvement of Davinci 14 was the fact of playback and other stuffs are way faster... I'll be disappointed if it becomes slow again... :(

I encountered that as well, I think processing H.264 was faster in Beta 7 than Beta 8 and 9.

Experiencing the same thing. Major performance bog down on beta 9 studio with playback of long gop and even prores footage on Windows

Hum : Prores? surely not :
Please see viewtopic.php?f=21&t=58590&p=360839#p360809

It is from a Prores 1080p HQ 422. Windows 10 x64.

Maybe check out its environment because DRV14B9 feeds with the ProRes and the DNXH D / R. :)

I have not noticed any slow down on my system in 14.09b compared to other betas. H264 or mp4 35Gbps 1080 50p working well.
