Fusion 9 Network Rendering Permission Errors

PostSat Sep 02, 2017 2:42 pm

Hello All -
I'm pretty new to Fusion and wanted to see how to get network rendering setup. I have one other machine that i'll be using it as a render node. I've installed the render node in it and is seen inside of main machine.

Once I hit render, I get permission errors from the file path in the Loaders. How do I go about fixing this. I feel like I have opened up permissions to those drives, but I'm still getting the same issue.

RenderMaster (main machine) is running on Windows 10 Pro, and RenderSlave is running on Windows 8.1

Please share any insight.

Thanks!

I wanted to write here what I found out.

The simple fix was to basically map the Main Machine's shared drives to be the same drive letters.

In my main Machine I have 2 drives, D: and F: for comps/footage. I needed to map those share drives in the node. Everything works perfectly, and frames get distributed accordingly.
