PostTue Sep 05, 2017 11:33 pm

Hi, based in NZ (PAL) looking to purchases the new ATEM Television Studio HD.

Upcoming job, we will be receiving a 720x576x50i feed (SD widescreen) from the OB van.
After reading the online manual, am I correct the that I would need to change the setting on the BM software to 625i50 PAL 16:9

Appreciate any guidance.

Cheers,
Murray.

Yes 625i50 is indeed that mode.. Not sure about why it is called 625.. I guess it has to do with the blanking area.. But we have that with HD too and we call that 1080 or 720 right..

But i have worked several times with the TVS HD on SD with Sony domes SD-SDI PAL.. This is the setting ;)

Because the original specification - set in Hanover, Germany in 1962 - described a TV picture with 625 interlaced lines at 50 hertz.
