Dashed lines

Hi everyone.

Is there a way to create dashed line (polylines, bsplines) in fusion?
Exept of spacing change - curve polylines dont look too good with it - squares are not aligned to path.

EDIT: I do realize I am replying to a post from last year so my apologies in advance. I do hope others find this post useful.

I just figured this out the other. It is easy but not so obvious. The solution is to use the Text+ tool.

Steps:
1. Make sure Path is selected.
2. Draw the shape you want.
3. Type in as many dashes you need using the - character.
4. Adjust tracking as needed.
5. You can animate the dashes along the path as needed.

This is much faster and easier than using the Paint Mask tool.

Make sure Show Show Controls are turned on should you want to draw the shape over another "layer" such as a video otherwise you are taking a wild guess.
