OS detects that Mini Recorder is connected into the Thunderbolt port, but APP does not detect device connected.
I have tried different versions of Desktop Video, from latest 10.9.7. to 10.8.3.
Same issue with all versions. Need to get camera connected.
HELP PLEASE!!
My setup is:
- MacBook Pro 2017 / macOS High Sierra 10.13 (17A365)
- UltraStudio Mini Recorder connected into the Mac with TB3 to TB2 adapter (with TB2 cable)
- adapter connected into Canon XC10 camera with hdmi to mini hdmi
Hardware list, under Thunderbolt Bus 1
UltraStudio Mini Recorder:
-Vendor Name: Blackmagic Design
-Device Name: UltraStudio Mini Recorder
-Vendor ID: 0x4
-Device ID: 0xA129
-Device Revision: 0x1
-UID: 0x000400000045D4B0
-Route String: 1

-Link Status: 0x2

Nearly identical situation for me..
2016 MBPro
BMD Mini Recorder
only difference is that my "Cable Firmware Version" says 1.0.16
I've been at this for over a week now and have missed out on 2 live events now.
BMD we need this to work! Please help! (It's just bizarre that macOS recognizes these devices, but the BMD software won't see them)
